my strobe light stops strobing at and above 2000 RPM.
the light still has power,
other pug wires emit signal through out rpm range.
motor does not show signs of problem. ie, loss of power.
any thoughts?

I played with the plug wire clamp from the timing gun and got it to work.
Cheap Harbor Freight gun.
I set the timing and it now runs like a raped ape..... well.... relatively...
