I decided to have a set of these tools machined for my 65KG. I had an extra set made up as well. If there is any interest in buying that extra set, please let me know.

Wow. That's neat. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]
Classic Brands. Classic Quality.
Not all parts are made the same. NOS OE/OEM parts made mainly in West Germany, Early Germany, and Early Brazil are where VW produced the best quality parts and best fitting products.

Very nice. For the unlearned what are the tools for? |
These are for installing the bushing and needle bearing on the beam for the upper and lower control arms. VW provides engineering drawings of many of their factory tools. So I had these made to the original drawing specs.
One tool for the upper and one for the lower - for the king pin axle. The upper one also works for the ball joint axle. _________________ 1971 1302LS Convertible (RHD) owned since '74

Take a look here and you can see these tools: https://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/tools1.php
As mentioned some of them have drawings. As I recall it is the higher numbered ones that have drawings. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]
