well my pop-outs aren't factory (big surprise) and they sit loose on the hinges my question is should i get a new hardware kit and reinstall them? or sebd it to a shop to do? is the effort DIY worth it?

By "not factory" what do you mean, VW ones but not original to your car and worn?, or aftermarket ones that don't work very well?

can you get a new 'hardware kit' for the popouts?

I have no idea if the ones in mine are original or not, but you can see into the car between the seal and the body so he fitment is total shite currently.

id love to hear what people are doing to address that, as I think theres a lot more than just a new seal needed for my own.
