I recently bought a 65 Sundial camper that has 5 Jalousie windows. They have been beaten down over the years. I am replacing the glass in them as well as the seal. I have been reading on the forums about what people have used to restore them. Can anyone post some pics of your windows. I would love to see the rubber stops at the ends of each pane, if you use anything to bond the glass in place in the mount ect. I know I can order the new seals from Wolfsburgwest.com. Their kit includes outer frame seal, lower flap Leal, and inner felt channels. Any pics you can post of a finished window complete would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

No they are 4 slat Jalousie windows. The top slat is smaller and fixed with 3 slats that move outward.

^ very cool info.
ooupla2, are your windows the Panel conversion style that are cut in? I have 2 of them in a bus that I can take some close-ups of, they are not in the best shape and might be missing some of the details you are looking for.
I still need 4 more of these... anyone??? Yes, I already have a wanted ad up but no luck yet.

If you haven't ordered the glass yet, I think Ronnie (splitpile) still has a few panes left. I am not too sure about that though. But the ones he has were tempered glass. That glass was only available on the 1967 year but is the best because it will not get the bubbles in it over time.

Or, you can do as I did and find a set of 1967 windows but you have to be damned lucky.

You have to cut them off a worm to thickness. I also put a dollop of clear silicone at the top of each aluminum glass keeper as added insurance.
