I have some deluxe pans I will be modifying for my '51 std. I have NOS seat studs and will remove the rails on the pans now. I need the dimensions of where they should be. How far back from the front chassis bulkhead (one measurement) and how far away from the tunnel, perpendicularly for each (2 measurements). I can photo shop a chassis pic later if it is not clear.
Anyone have an original split std and can get those measurements? I have a bunch of time off over the holidays and hope to work on those pans....

| Hey John, I measured 30 3/4" from the bulkhead, and 2 1/8" and 15 5/8" from the tunnel to the center of the studs. This was from an original chassis that has not been repaired. |

Excellent, thank you 9secschwim. Can you tell me what year that chassis was? Can anyone else confirm these measurements? _________________ John Henry

John,
I have an unmessed with 1947 that has the threaded bolts still in place. But that is about all I have.
Will measure them in the AM.

This particular chassis is a 51 and those measurements are from the drivers side. I can measure the passenger side tomorrow if needed. |

I can't imagine the pass side would be different. I don't think there is a need to measure those. _________________ John Henry

John
I came up with almost those exact same measurements in a nice OG 1950 Hoffman standard that was in the shop earlier this year
30 3/4" from bulk head
2"? from the tunnel
2 1/4" from the heater channel
13 3/8" between the two bolts
these were just quick measurements i wrote down while working on the customers to-do list
