Title says it all.
1995 Eurovan Camper...new heater core installed 3 days ago.
Driving home on a warm day so i didn't check it till I got home. It was and still is blowing luke warm air.
Question...
Does the heat partially come from engine warmth?
I've had the van running and driving around and the heat doesn't get very warm.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

How hot is the engine? If your thermostat is bad the engine will not get up to the correct temperature and the heaters will not work well.

Are you sure you are getting flow through the heat exchanger? Perhaps your $6 heater valve is not working.

Does the Eurovan have the heater valve you're talking about?
The hoses going into and out of the heater core are hot...so I'm pretty sure the heater core is getting the appropriate temp.
My mechanic says it may need to be bled again...it might have an airlock going on.

The temp gauge is still running normal...a little over halfway.

Thanks for the input.

Robert
