Thank you for posting this up, another amazing adventure with a Beetle! Very Happy

I'm looking over the photographs in the link to the website at the top of your post. All great stuff. Good videos too - I wish I could understand all the different languages - I have to start learning.

I never thought I will posting in the split forum. Razz

I saw this split in Mazatlan, Sinaloa back in March/April, I´m not sure, it was the first split I´ve ever seen in my life, a really nice car. I saw outside the hotel the owners were staying, but I couldn´t met them.

Something I really regret is not have taken pictures, we were in a hurry going to work and when I went back the next day and it was gone.

If you want I can translate the TV footage for you people. But I´ll make it in a couple hours because I have to go out for a moment. Wink

Dirk and Torsten stopped at our house earlier in the year. It was really cool to see the way they had packed that beetle. Stuff that would not be hurt by the oil or heat was even stored in the engine compartment! they had dozens of maps in the map pockets.... secret compartments... all sorts of tools... funny signs... they are having fun... They have no preconceived notions about anywhere they are going... they are just going.

We Americans should all do something like this... it would be good for us all.
Get us out of our bubble and into the reality of what makes a person happy in this world.

I'm proud of these two guys.
