So i got a call from a friend of mine saying that his buddy had these two VW buses on his property ,and that he wanted to sell them. You see i'm really into 67-72 Chevy Trucks but i've always had a sweet spot for VW buses, Ghia's, Notch Back's, you name it . If it's old i like it. now back in 94-95 i had a 71 west that i bought off a guy i was stationed with in the Coast Guard. that bus was sweet, it was the best $400 buck i have ever spent. it just need an engine rebid and i was good to go. i ended up painting, lowering, and installing some killer wheels on it . then i was off to LaLapalooza to get my party on. so lets just say i had some great memories in a bus... back to my score. so i got a 1968 west , and a 1971 transporter . both in great condition.the engines are out of them but in the deal i also got 4 engines. two buses and a lot of parts.
i could use a little help here. i'm not sure how to post pictures on the forum , or if i even can do that? |
