engine tin circle hole just to aft of dip stick

I am trying to find out what should run from the 2.5 or so inch circle hole tat is on the bottom right side of the engine just aft of the dipstick, ( not the heater hose that runs to the shroud. 1970 conv. beetle.

I have looked everywhere for a good parts breakdown of the engine, that would show this but I cant find one.

found it aircleaner. LOL to many hours not enough sleep. Perhaps Ill put baby oil in the blinker fluid next.

Hiya Chuck,

You will also need the "stovepipe". That's an elbow shaped piece of tin that conducts warm air from under the right-hand cylinder bank up to the hose that should run further up to your air cleaner.
