I am putting a set into our super and I would like a close up of the inside body hinge to see the fitment of the welting. Tried the gallery but its all kits outside the car or bus pop-outs.

Thank you for anyone that can help me.

Im not sure what Your looking for or if my pop outs are even correct or complete but I hope this may help these are for a late model I found them @ Bug Jam this year

So for the pop out hinge, Does it just flex the metal? And has this broken on anyone? Ive never had pop outs and just picked some up to put in my 69

theres little metal bars that go in there they have threaded holes in them for the screws to thread into.They probably help reinforce it to eliminate flex.on the first pic posted you can see the end of one of them sticking out on the bottom.

yes those are them, also I've noticed on A 68 bug we were parting out that the holes were already in the pinch wield and the car didn't have pop-outs
.

If you measure the opening from the body and the length of the window you can figure out the amount of movement at the hinge. It is very small and is evidently not enough to cause metal fatigue at the 'hinge'. If the hinge cracks you can find new hinges readily.
