Every so often I snoop around the UK eBay site for stuff. And every so often within that every so often, I will see a Russek manual. Many are from the '70s and some are more contemporary. Most of the time they are for a car like a Citroen so I am not too sure why they come up on my searches.
If I already had a 412 like you do, I would grab it. I must admit, however, I have no idea how useful they are or if it would even pertain to a North American model. _________________ Now: 2003 New Beetle Turbo S / 1990 Single Cab Transporter / 2014 Tiguan R-Line 4motion / 2013 Tiguan S / 2002 Golf GLS TDI

Except for the right hand drive and a few options that cold climate users might find....the 411/412 were the same parts wise on all continents. It woudl be interesting to know whether the manual has any more usefulness than those out there.
The Haynes manual is very good...but rather incomplete in certain areas because they deemed certain issues beyond the users ability.
The Clymer manual is virtually worthless in all respects except for the gasoline heater diagram section and the rear drivetrain alignment section. its the only manual with that information.
The bentley brown type 3 manual is excellent for the automatic transmission section for both type 3 and 4.
