Good Mechanics in the Greater Hartford Area?

All,

My father is looking for a good mechanic in the greater Hartford area where he can take his 86 Westy Weekender. For years (30+) we would take our VWs to a guy in Manchester, however, they won't work on Vanagons.

He's concerned about a possible headgasket leak and would like a competent mechanic to give it a once-over.

I'd do it, but I'm a few states away.

Any recommendations on mechanics would be appreciated.

I live in New Hartford, CT and have my shop in Hudson, NY.
I mostly do full restorations and Subaru swaps, but will work on waterboxers too.
