Just got a reproduction Hurst from Justin at Heli Machine. Built it the day I ordered shipped out right away. Hurst looks to be super well built, Fits on bumper better than any OG Hurst I’ve seen. I could not ask for anything better. I would recommend the Heli machine Hursts. They are super NICE. Thanks again Justin.

Recvd hurst bumper frm heil machine co . we had some problem's with ups ... they lost mounting brackets but justin replaced them & covered the shipping since ups hasnt refunded him yet Very Happy

I am having the same problem. Got the bar but no mounts, bolts, brackets anything. I am trying to get a hold of Justin, but he jhasn't answered.

Hope he can help me with this.

Shoot justin a PM & email him he's usually pretty busy took alittle while to get back with me. But he's very trust worthy... I'm in hawaii he could of easily screwed me but he took care of the problem even with me being a bitch about it...if you don't hear frm him by weekend pm me on monday I think I have his #....

Been dealing with Justin for a few years now and I have nothing but good things to say. I have one of his HURST on my 63 Daily Driven Camper and love the quality of the HURST. I like having that much more sturdy metal on the nose of the bus.

I am planning on buying one for the 57 SC now that it's my daily driver, it feels naked without one, and since I drive my son to pre-school in one or the other, I like having that much more piece of mind.

He's a one man show, fabbing, welding, constructing and shipping each item he makes and advertises. I'm sure it's an oversight if he hasn't responded, give him time, He's a stand up guy.

I just received my hurst from Justin a while ago and didnt think to post feedback till I saw this up. The hurst looks amazing. I was a little stand offish about buying one but am glad I did. I may need to raise the bus up a little to run it but talking to Justin he said he will help me make it work even at the height I am at. I may just hold onto it until I raise my shit up 4X4.
I plan on buying a full rack soon and I am sure it will be a great product, just need to save my pennies.

Quality of Product

This Hurst is built REALLY well. When you get the Hurst in its bare metal state, you realize it really is a work of ART. These are crazy to build with so many pieces! All the cuts and welds were first class. Installation of the Hurst is pretty easy. My mounting arms and brackets were securely taped to the bumper.

Customer Service

My order was shipped right on schedule, it took a couple of days since I had a few special modifications which Justin did a nice job on.

I had a couple of installation tech questions and he answered both on the phone (he called back 10 minutes after I called) and via email.

Recommendation

If I knew someone who wanted a Hurst Repro bumper, I would definitly recommend Heil Machine Co.

justin replied today after seeing my post in his feedback and on the split bus forum...........i just want my supports,no replys on the emails really sucks..............it sucks worse when your told something and that something doesnt happen

justin,i know you are reading this and i am a bit befuddled that on the very day i post feedback i get a response,yet ive sent several pm's with no reponse

you were very good about communication when you got the money,if your having tough times,im sorry,but the least you could do is respond back with another excuse or the truth,really anything is better than nothing

i have really gone out of my way to support you,so how about some supports?

I ordered a hurst from Justin about 8 weeks ago and he hooked me right up. He emailed me with a question about early or late, and when I did not get back with him he found me through a mutual acquaintance and called me on my cell. I have since worked with him on some rack ideas for my SC and he seems to be very responsive when I have questions.

Great quality on the hurst too - fit right, no hassles.

Justin has always gone out of his way to help me out. So far I have purchased a full size rack and a hurst from him. I have nothing but great things to say about the guy and his products. He didn't even know me and allowed me to make payments on my Hurst. I know of no one else who would allow that. He knew I was in a tight spot, and he trusted me the whole way through. I know he has donated, not only his time, but many of his products to various shows.
He's an honest guy, so what ever the beef is between the other guy and him, it should be taken to a PM. Leave the BS off the site and away from his products.

i have a Heil Machine hurst on my 65 panel/camper. i love it and have nothing but good things to say about this product. since i travel alot i put mine on to reinforce my "crumple zone".. i intend to order another one for a 58 DD panel.

I ordered a hurst from Justin 3 days before OCTO wanting to get it for the show. Justin worked around the clock and built me a sick ass hurst. I planned on getting it from him at OCTO but he offered to help me install it at his house and even fed me!

I was so happy with the product and service I had a custom roof rack for my single cab built. Again the rack was better then an original and way cooler. The rack was completed start to finish in less then a week. When I had scheduling errors and couldn't get to Corona to get my rack, Justin was cool enough to store it for me. I just wish I had more buses to put Heil Machine products on.

I have nothing bad to say about Heil Machine Co. Awesome service, great product and overall a great guy. This is the type of people everyone should do business with. Justin and his company are the type of people that you want representing the VW community. With all the scammers and douche bags out there Heil Machine stands out way above all.

to be clear,im not bashing on justins product or him personally,im bummed to leave bad feedback on anyone,i use it as a last resort

some sellers dont even care about bad feedback,im glad that justin does care about his feedback,its unfortunate that it had to come this far,i sent several messages and never got replys

he has read the postings and wanted me to pull them,im not willing to pull feedback because it bums someone out,if im leaving feedback negative or positive theres a good reason.....................

again im not trying to cause justin problems,he has done that himself,im a bit surprised he has chosen to pm me instead of publicly address the situation

i have dealt with justin for yrs now,i hate to leave negative feedback and i dont even remember leaving anyone anything but good feedback

My dealings with Justin have been prompt. He has responded to me either the day of or the next day. Thus far my dealings with him have been straight forward, succinct, and accommodating. He is in the process of building me bumpers and thus far I have not had one problem. I know he is very heavily involved in the community. His reputation within and among the community speaks for itself. I approached him because of this.
