I know McKenzies sells the 10 degree mount kit but I thought someone else did also. Does anyone know who the other company is? If not I am just going to order the McKenzies one. If you do know the other company who makes them, have you tried the product and were you satisfied? How much fab work was needed to make it work?

McKenzies doesn't make the kit they are just a reseller and you will be fine using the one from there. _________________ “It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.”

That's the same as the one I got from McKenzies, but I think I got mine cheaper than that... _________________ It's mine now and I want a BAJA!!! |

I had the local VW shop call McKenzies and they said $182 and no shipping. I am waiting to hear back from Pacific customs. I'll see who has the better price and hopefully get the trans in soon. _________________ 1975 Baja Bug

pretty easy straight forward install.
only tough spot was cutting enough metal away to get access to weld the front mount to the torsion housing. _________________ foam cowboy hats aren't good helmets. |
