Hi guys ,
I'm looking for publishable* photographs of split buses powered by anything but stock engines, so that includes any period conversion such as Corvair, buick V6 and V8, etc.
Souped up VW engines such as Okrasas and the like are welcome too
*by publishable I mean that they have reasonable quality and that they are taken by you (not someone else's picture), yes, I have searched google images and the gallery here
The pictures will be published in an article and will be duly credited |

Not sure what the regulations are for "publishable" (since it is someone else's bus) but here's a couple snap-shots I took of one peculiar double-cab at the
"Split Double Cabs at the Nor Cal Vintage VW & Porsche Treffen 2017"
These snap-shots were taken by me at this particular meet.

I built a turbo Corvair powered sandrail in the 80's using a reverse cam, Berrien 2 seat chassis, '68 swingaxle, early linkpin front end. Great powertrain and I think it would make a bus really drivable with today's traffic. I've considered doing the same in a bus but I don't think it could be done without cutting sheetmetal. The purist in me freaks out to think about that...... _________________ '66 Deluxe Bus

You can build or have built a decent, properly and purposely 2litre+ vw engine. No conversion and/or cutting required! _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

There was a 21-window in Floriduh a few years ago with a 3.6L _________________ -Thom
