|
|
I have an opportunity to buy a Kelmark GT for $400. I've only glanced at it so far. It looks complete, the body seems to be in good shape but the paint/gelcoat is dull, has all the interior, guages and glass. The interior is very rough, looks like rats have torn up the seat covers. It has a roll bar behind the seats, has IRS rear and has rusty wire spoke wheels. There is a VW engine in it but don't know any thing about it or even if is froze up. There is no title with it.
I'm mostly interested in getting it for the engine for my Thing, and selling the rest.
What do ya'll thing? Would I be able to sell the rest of it?
Thanks, Chuck |

| I would think you could get your $400 back for it. |

| I'll have to go take a better look at it when I get a chance and get some pics. All the glass is in it, the doors open and close, I couldn't get the two rear hatches open, they wouldn't unlatch, hopefully I'll be able to get them open from underneath. |

Kelmark GT windshield glass is easy... it's from a Ford Pinto/Mercury Bobcat...

Yeah but I undestand that the door glass is getting scarce - I was pondering building one myself earlier this year....... Theres a Kelmark group on Yahoo that you could find and I am sure you would find a taker. maybe make a couple bucks on the deal _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone 1914. Ex wifes car.
