Hey guys and ghoulsi love this whole site and the people on the forums seem THE BEST. well ive had my bug for a year done a lil here and there on it and i wanna get the ball rolling and bring it to a better condition then it already is in the body is great pan is good interior looks like a tornado hit it. but i need some help knowledge wise on the process of restoring it like when to paint when and if i should redo the headliner or do i install glass first or after headliner and i would like to paint the inside to match the outside. any guesstimates would be awesome! i want the original seats in it with the reproduction old school radio w/ the knobs i think its teh S**T cuz why buy a classic car and modernize it?? umm its got 1835cc in it and i wanna paint it pumkin orange like off a 73 super like my grandpa had infact i wanted to redo his paint scheme like he had it back new in 73 well guys thats my pride and joy cant wait to hear from you guys im glad to be here and be part of this awesome scene!
everytime i see a air cooled classic my eyes get this big ---> [img][/img] _________________ Jason AKA Fatboy |

Lets see if I can help you out A little.. I to like old school, I cant stand seeing A digital radio in A classic car It just don't look right its cool to have some good sound but put it out of site ok you need to do the rubber window seals and the headliner at the same time, and before the carpet. order you should do things
1. paint
2. headliner/window seals
3. carpet
4. seats/dash pad/door panels/ Ext. |

Re-looking at the picks the first thing you need to do is clean it out really with not having the glass in it you should git the carpet out.. |

| That font was so bright my retinas have burned out of my eyes. Two screws on the side of the door, one might be hidden under the rubber. It looks good, interior isn't much of an issue. I'd like to see it with the new paint. |
