I have a -72 with a 1700 engine that I'm trying to restore as my first car project ever and I'm now in need of some expert advice.

The engine started nicely after new gaskets, new oil and a nice outside cleaning even if it's been standing still for 15 yesra and the dual carb setup seems to still be in sync except at idle. When idling the right side of the engine wants to stall unless I unscrew the idle solenoid 1-2 turns. The solenoid it self seems to work, clicking when I connect it and letting through air when power is on and I've tried to blew compressed air through all chanels and needles I find.

Anyone with suggestions to where to look next?
