|
|
WEF Today 18 Dec the rules for the NORRA Mexican 1000 have been released. After some discussion over the previous months a new class has been included being that of the Meyers Manx Buggy.
Category VMeyers: Genuine Meyers Manx vehicles
This category is for any model of genuine Meyers Manx vehicle. Meyers Manx vehicles of any age (including new) may enter this vintage category.
With that in mind some phone calls where made, crazy ideas agreed upon and the decision was made that some crazy Aussie Guys would build a Meyers Manx Manxter DualSport and enter the Race.
So it looks like I am going racing and even though we have no car, no chassis, no experience and some may say no idea I think it is only fair we document the build and see if it is possible.
So with that in mind I thought I would start a thread on here and keep you all posted as to the situation as it goes.
Now you can't have a game plan without some dates
18 Dec 2014 - NORRA Release 2015 Rule confirming official inclusion of the Meyers Manx Class.

cheers, thanks for the encouragement.
I am lucky in that I have access to some very talented guys and experience that will help it happen.
As for expensive, I guess we will find out, I will ensure that I document the retail costing's to the cent so that people can see what it would cost. |

Well after the Meyers Manx Christmas Party it looks like we have a Manxter DualSports, Meyers Tow'd and a Classic Meyers Manx entering the class, looks like a great turn out. |
