What is the torque setting for the nuts holding down the manifold on the heads for a stock 36 hp engine?
Thanks |

9ft-lbs, same as oil pump.
Actually it's 6ft-lbs, same as strainer plate. _________________ Glenn

Thanks Glenn – I checked my available torque source material and could not find this one. I use a bicycle torque wrench that works great for ranges from 2-10 ft-lbs, i.e., oil plate nuts. |

I just double checked in the Without Guesswork handbook and it's 6ft-lbs.
I also use a 1/4 drive torque wrench that I use on carbon fiber bikes.
