Looks amazing, I like it.
I would like to see some more engine specs.

IDK. It's a good looking car.
That said, if I were looking for a 55, I'd want it to be stock.

That 55 is highly modified with a 2276, FI engine and likely a highly modified transaxle to handle all the added HP that the power train has to offer.

The OP's screen name is Callookbeetle, so I'd say this car fills the bill! Laughing

It has a Berg 5.

Car is top notch, you couldn't build it for that price.

And at this point in my life, I wouldn't build such a car,

It's nice, just not my taste for an Oval.

It is good, but not great. Door gaps are off. That gets me to stop looking. It is a really nice car. Could be great but it has flaws. The biggy is in the summary.

“This Beetle was expertly built from the floorpan upwards by Reichspeed in Doncaster, ensuring top-notch craftsmanship throughout.”

That is “top notch”. I would not be that bold. Again, car looks good. It is a great 25 footer for sure!

Not for me, either. Also, a car with no bumpers looks incomplete.

it's nice but a lot of money. as Jimbo says there are some annoying niggles. the bonnet fit is poor and the wolfsburg crest not meeting the trim strip is a schoolboy error Rolling Eyes

...if I bought it I can imagine I'd be fretting about stone chips and engine tuning wondering if it was money well spent, how often are you going to use that acceleration? and that gonzoline volksrod is £5k cheaper... Laughing

how about a crotch cooler split? £34,900
https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1865061

or a 55 resto-cal £27000
https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1825870

or a 57 ragtop for under £23000 - that vinyl would have to go...

I like that Black 57 but it would have to be a solid roof..I wonder if that's easy to do?

Folks always want to put a sunroof in, I never heard of someone wanting to take one out. If that’s an original sunroof, and it’s a two fold so it might be… that would be a mistake.
