Picked up this truck September 09 and wanted to share my progress since then. This is my first metal working major project, I am still learning along the way.
MCodes for american lighting and dual chest doors. Port of Chicago
Going all stock, dual carb 40 hp, light grey, stock height.
This came from Sac and I know of one previous owner. If you know anything about it, let me know.

Bumper:
Was caved in at the bottom and towel bar was pulled at some point. I cut a slit in the blade and beat the hell out of it, it wouldn't go back into shape any better than this. Well, it looks a lot better. Rattle canned it with WW silver white. Looks pretty good for what it is.

Floor:
Came with a Schoffield floor patch. Came out nice for being the first one I've ever done. Yes, I have a crappy flux core welder, but it seems to work great compared to some others I've used. Traded a bug roof rack for it, so it was a deal

Dogleg:
Made a template out of a manilla folder and cut out some donor metal from a crunched Chevy door. Still have to add the little factory hole and grind some welds

Engine Compartment:
Someone hacked framerails and hole. Someone tried to make this a drag truck. There were toggle switches and crap everywhere! Bought a donor bed for some frame sections

Nose:
@nd pic down, it's hard to see but it was crushed paper thin. Reconstructed the box shape of it. I was able to hammer the backside out pretty close to original once I cut it open

Rear Corners:
I have since fixed the bulge on the right side repair. I removed the lower right section while I was at it. It was bashed in under the battery tray with no room to pop it out
