Bay servo brake system diagram

Hi, new to this camper stuff but I've rebuilt more beetle brake system than I care to remember. 
I can't find a good system diagram for servo brakes that shows what plugs into what. I have a servo with a hose to the inner arch, and another to the engine bay where it's cut off. All good so far.
I have a small curved-edge magic black box that has a bracket in the rhs engine bay and I'm guessing that something plugs into it, and it plugs into something!
Lastly something has to plug into a manifold when I get my engine in there! Not even in my Bentley manual does it show what goes where, Tut tut. Can somebody doodle a simple sketch of the system please.

Right well after loads of digging the 'magic box' is a charcoal filter. No idea what the hell this is for but I've read it's a US/Cali thing. Where does it plug into and what does it do? Also can I junk it?

Still need the quick rough servo hose diagram cheers.

What year Bus is this and what type of engine? You could have either type.

The bus is an early crossover 1971 with small rear lights but disc brakes. The engine I will be putting in is a T1 1600 single port. The van was imported with no engine but can only accept T1. I know I'm going to have to weld/tap a pipe into the manifold and install a one-way-valve. I can't find a decent diagram anywhere to make sure I get this right.

Also I have this charcoal canister thing that I've never heard of that's part of the breather system I guess. To prevent oil mist being burnt?
Does this go between the filler neck breather and the air filter?

The charcoal canister stores fuel vapors when parked and discharges them into the air cleaner to be burnt when the bus is running, nothing to do with crankcase fumes.

Thanks. My fan housing won't have a port to fblow air into the canister so I'm removing it. Cheers.

No problem, just make sure to run the small line that connected to it to the air filter, your fuel tank has to breath.

After hours of searching here's the info fir future searchers.

Charcoal canister.
Collects combustable fumes when engine is not in use. When engine is run air blows the fumes to the filter then onto the carb to be burnt.
Has one small line from petrol tank
Larger line from fanhousing
Line to air cleaner.

Servo (brake booster)
Has one breather hose to LHS wheel arch.
Has one vacuum hose off toward engine bay.
Hose connects to solid pipe
Pipe connects to more flex hose into engine bay
Hose connects to one way valve then manifold.
