This is a good thread and I thought that I would contribute is some small capacity to it.
My center bushing, the black plastic thing that sits in the l-bracket in front of the shroud did not survive. It was baked and just fell apart. I don't believe these are reproduced but I did find an alternative on mcmaster by searching for bushings. This seems like the only place that has 11mm OD, 7mm ID shoulder bushing.
It is a little loose in the bracket so I applied some fast setting weather stripping glue. (Other than it being within reach, there is no specific criteria for selecting it). |
