Hello all,
I would like ask a favor, despite having hardly posted here (though read a lot!)
I am trying to figure out if I can regularly carry some large items in a Westfalia or if I will need to purchase a regular non full camper Van. To that end, would someone with a westy be willing to measure the dimensions of the rectangular center floor area:
* The length from the front of the under rear seat storage to the back of the front seat boxes
and
* The width between the westy cabinets and the inside of the door, or whatever is most prominent in the corners.
basically, the dimensions of the (mostly) unobstructed floor rectangle.
It would be extra nice to have the width for a non-westy van to be sure it's big enough, but I think it should be.
Thanks very much, in advance.

Thanks so much Tim - you did great work for that thread! I'm sorry I didn't find it in my search.
Now, could anyone measure the floor width dimension for a non-camper van (46.5" for the westy in Tim's pics), or perhaps it is 'on file' somewhere?
Thanks again,
Andy |
