Wow that makes me feel bad for chopping up a syncro that was as bad as that Vanagon Shocked Dehler's are a trip how they have body panels around the windows inside and out.

those conversions sure all cool but all those extra panels fastened sure to collect the moisture

Daaaaannnng!
Now my "rusty" Westy doesn't seem so bad, kinda feeling motivated to start cutting and welding.

I've got those same 14" wheels, Caravelle wheels? Whatever that tire size is looks good too.

those wheels are profi not caravelle if yours are 15inch they be at least 1000 euro for used ones

Mine are identical, just in the 14" size. I'd rather have the 15" for sure, didn't even know they made them in 15".

When you look at where the van rusted its quite a bit is confined to areas
that we're covered in trim. Looking at the pictures the under carriage doesn't
look to be all corroded like I thought it would with the amount of rust
that was found. The fiberglass trim panels on the late model big bumper
vans does the same thing in northern environments where salt/sand is used
on the roads.
I like the color combo they use or at least the way my iphone displays it. The top is neat.
