Not Vanagon, but this 21 window field find has been getting a buzz in my BMW 2002 group.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261448114097

Look at it for entertainment, someone out there is proud of this, not sure where the bidding started, but somebody has deep pockets.

Personally, I couldn't imagine starting a project like this, I took on a badly rusted but decent running BMW Bavaria once in my life, and that was probably the last one. My wife says it was definitely the last one.

Anyone here would consider starting a project like this?

I'm not a split expert despite owning a '67 for many years, but don't those front turn signals indicate that it's an earlier model year than '66?

"The front clip is from an even earlier model mircobus, but we do have the original signals for this car."
