Good evening peeps, searching for an answer and didnt find it, here it goes:
66 bug 3" narrowed adjustable bj beam w/ drop spindles, disc brakes. Trying to fit 15x7 alloys but the bottom trailing arms/ball joints are rubbing on the inner part of the wheel (trailing arm/ball joint sits approx 1.5" inside of the wheel)
My question is, will installing stock spindles create a gap from bottom trailing arm/ball joint and the wheel? And if so, when putting my adjusters all the way down will it create the same rubbing issue? I dont have stock spindles so I cant try it out. I have several options to fit these wheels (narrower beam w/ 1.5" spacers, 1.5 spacers w/ wider spacers) but looking at this option since it can potentially be the cheapest. Any help or advice?
