Forgive me for not putting this in with the seat belt post as it slipped my mind. But anyways I just bought my first VW, a 1960 ragtop Bug and I am loving it! My dilema is that the passenger door does not have a lock. I can lock the driver side door that has the keyhole in the outside doorhandle/button. Yet the passenger doorhandle/button has no such feature or other way to lock it that I can see. Was this the norm back then to make only one locking door? Please help with any info!

| The original door lock on the passenger side will not unlock from the outside, but you can lock and unlock it from the inside. Push the bottom of inside door handle forward to lock it and aft(toward the rear of the car) to unlock it. I believe there was an optional passenger door handle with a keyhole to unlock from the outside, but those are few and far between. Good luck!...Bryan |

| That sure enough works! I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to lock it and your reply solved that problem. Now I feel like a buffoon since I could not figure it out myself...heh. Thank you very much Bryan! |
