link or ball joint

Hi

Can anyone tell me if my 67 (slopping headlight) bug is ball joint or link pin front beam?

Probably a stupid question but I am buying some drop spindles and need to know.

In '67 they would be ball joint...unless it's been changed...look at your shocks...if the top bolt of the shot is going straigt up, and the beam curves over the top of it, it's a ball joint, if it is straigt up and down...and the shock bolt is through the side of it, it's a link pin(the shock tower mount on the beam is straigt up and down) But I'm assuming that you have a ball joint look in the magazines, most of them tell you the year of the part your buying.
