That's a hard one to find, it's a 1 year only item and your 60' is full of 1 year items. Check here, check Gene Berg Enterprises, and any other vw parts place. |

Front transaxle mounts are discussed a lot for the earlier Bugs because of people changing from one style transaxle to another. Just to make sure, are you going to be installing a split case transaxle in your 1960, or a full syncro tunnel case transaxle? That one-year only front mount only fits a one-year only split case transaxle with matching nose cone. |

if installing a tunnel case trans into a 1960 beetle you have to use a 1960 only front mount.
if installing a tunnel case trans into a 1959 and older then you use a 59-67 type2 bus front mount. also both 59 and older and 1960 use a bus nosecone and bus hockey stick. please keep this info in mind snort. _________________ Admin note: Bill Passed away - July, 2017

just did this myself. used a tunnel trans, with bus nose cone and hockey stick. Welded the front mount off a newer bug. Thats the easy part. Now the tricky part is lining up the hockey puck up right. if you just you the stock holes it wont work. |
