|
|
Ok, I've never used these before and I thought would be a no-brainer but the car won't stay on.
1. Jacked up back, then front and inserted 4 dollies.
2. Put the car in 1st gear with handbrake on.
3. Turned all the dolly wheels to face direction I wanted to push, sideways. Dolly wheels unlocked.
Started to push sideways from a back corner first; it was easy to push, and then the car spit out both back dollies and one of the front dollies. Don't know what to do except get it all set up again and push very slowly from middle of car with a helper watching the wheels. Any suggestions appreciated.

you've got them 'pointed' the wrong way. The 'valley' goes from right to left not front to back _________________ Daily driver: '69 Baja owned 45 yrs - Plan B: '72 Ghia

Also, make sure that IF your dollies have handles, that they face outwards so you can manhandle the car around _________________ VW's:

No handles on these, wish they did. I'm arranging them so the 2 wheels with locks are on the outside. _________________ 1971 Super Beetle & 1971 Karmann Ghia
