Incredible. Glad I'm poking around the engine while waiting for my Famous Amos cookies to arrive. The A/C compressor mounting bolts are missing. These are the upper two bolts that hold the compressor to the heavy cast aluminum bracket to the right of the compressor. The previous owner put a couple smaller nut/bolts through them to hold it on. Nice. That would have lasted until I was in the middle of nowhere, then the compressor would have broken loose and taken out all my other belts. Note to previous owner: When something is mounted with a ginormous cast aluminum mount, it means large forces at work. So switching to bolts half the OEM size would be a bad thing.
Anyhow, does anyone know the correct size and thread? With neither one to use to match, it would save me time if someone knows. Thank you in advance.
