This is gonna sound stupid .I have a fuel pump with one threaded fitting and a push on type fitting. Question is which is the inlet and outlet and what size is the fitting and thread pattern? when i bought the car none of this was installed. Thanks |

The threaded one is the inlet. Its designed to have a metal line that goes in there, which looks like this on the end:

Thanks alot one question answered but what size is the tubing fitting threads, most autoparts stores have tubing fittings that i could buy local. Thanks again |

I doubt you'll be able to find that locally - it's designed for a metal pipe, with that compression sleeve ferrule on it. It's M12x1.5 with a 6mm OD pipe and the compression ferrule piece that's 6mmID and 8mm OD. It's not a taper pipe thread. |

Pipe its measured on the id, tubing its od. Ask your local hose and fitting shop if they can get the 6mm tubing, and compression ferrules for 6mm tube. The od of the ferrule doesn't matter. _________________ '67 Sunroof
