hey!
my split wiper motor has FD stamped on it, that makes it June 52 like my 52 cc. the wiper assembly is the same, and i think these were used up to 1954 with slight differences. you know where to get the date codes, don't you?
Hohoho!

So then it is a Nov 52 which would be correct for a zwitter, however it must be the standard wiper because the wiring diagram shows an optional wiper motor that has the auto stop (for Deluxe models) with 3 screw terminal whereas this one only has two.

was the parking feature on all deluxe models or was it introduced after a while? |
Thats a good question because my zwitter is a deluxe and this is the wiper assembly that came with the car and is wired accordingly. There is a possiblity it was replaced at some time. _________________ Bill |

AFAIK the auto-park feature was standard equipment on the Deluxe models as of Oct '52. This new auto-park motor was a bit bigger and had an aluminum cover instead of the black painted cover. My Nov '52 has this auto-park motor. A manual park motor for Standards or CDN Customs survived to at least 1960, but early on in that period the small (black cover) motor was phased out in favor of the newer looking version, minus the auto-park wiring and cam / brake band arrangement. _________________ "Criticism comes easier than Craftsmanship"
