I have an 87 GL and need to remove the drivers side center interior panel. The one that's to the left of the middle seat. I can get most of the clips out but when I get down to the bottom rear corner I'm finding that the rear seat is tight up against the panel and won't allow me to pry the panel out. Do I have to remove the rear seat to get the panel off? It seems that if I try to pry it out the panel corner will break off and I really don't want that to happen since I'm taking it off to fix it from other damage. Has anyone took off the panel without taking out the rear seat? I did a quick search and found a bunch of guys talking about door panels, but none mentioning the center panel. Any advice would be much appreciated!

The rear seat is not that hard to remove. The panels are somewhat flexible but removing the seat will prevent breaking/cracking the panel. Now back to the game. Go Packers! Very Happy
