Umm, my wheels definitely camber IN at the top. Is that bad? haha.
Tires have been on the bug since around '85, if that gives any indication how long they last. I'm more worried about the dry rot than the tread loss.

Yes you can. You need the short bars, spring plates, and outer grommet.
Before:
After:
31s are too big for a stock rear end. They will rub all over the inside of the wheel wells. 30's won't rub if you keep the stock bump stop. Hibbards book show how you can beat the wheel wells to fit 31s if you are stuck on getting them. |

i am going to swap my swinger for an irs on my 64 pan. i will just cut the spring plate and drill holes for the trailing arms to bolt to. |

Define "not hard". Like on the streets? Maybe. At highway speeds, a large 31" tire could balloon and rub the torsion tube.
I have both 30s and 31s on rims ready to go. I also have short torsion tubes... I am going to run the 30's. I'd rather have the 1/2" extra suspension travel than the 1/2" of ground clearance. |

Fire roads mostly. Think I have 31's now but they are gone smooth and I never got to see them new. |
