Wow! For $ 500.00, I'd buy it.

Looks to be a factory bent kit, could have been owner welded. Do not know what it takes to make street legal where you are, but if that is your goal, I would research the legal side first. The reason is this rail may have too much missing or not correct that it may cost a fortune to make street legal.

its got a state assigned vin number which means it had to be titled at one time so your at least part way there. they don't even assign rails vin numbers in this state Sad for 500 I'd jump on it or at least go take a look at it.

The bus trans is worth that for a core charge. Buy it and get it running.

It looks sweet for 5 bills!

You can easily sell the spindle mount wheels, to aid in purchasing some front brake stuff...

And as far as fenders go, you could use some motorcycle fenders up front (with clamp on bracketry) and some trailer specials out back without to much trouble.

Looks great! Getter goin' and have fun!

Make sure you put a big ol' buggy whip on there too!

Cheers!

The front brakes from the '72 will be Ball Joint (BJ). The pictures of the Blue Rail show a Link and King Pin front end (LP). The brakes and drums are not interchangable.

Only LP brakes will work on that rail.

i supposed i could just swap the beam over. it would be a little more work probably but a whole lot cheaper.

That will not fit either without cutting and welding. The distance between the two horizontal tubes is greater on a BJ beam versus a LP beam to the point they just will not exchange.
