I have been looking through the various forums to see if there is a comprehensive list of upgrades to consider making while the body and pan is separated. I am working on a '69 sunroof.
I am thinking of such things as mid trans mount, clutch tube support (where it exits the pan,) tunnel access methods, wire routing conduit in tunnel (for later use,) traction bar mount...
I'm not saying I am going to do all of these things , just trying to flush out options so I work in the features I want before paint is applied.
Pictures would be awesome if you have’m! |

I would rebuild, repaint everything and do every seal and bushing you can find. It's a million times easier to do that kind of stuff with the body off. Do new brake tubing as well. If you really want to go crazy put a mendeola front and rear suspension setup on it. _________________ Pics of my 1970 Satin Black Type 1 build |

Do the works, everything new and update brakes to disc, shocks, front and rear sway bars, all bushings etc. and all new steering components. You won't regret the extra handling performance and braking power. _________________ Current:74 Ghia Coupe w/ 2276
