Hey guys ive finally decided to start working on my second sand rail. i am just abut to build the a arms for it. im wondering if anyone knows if i just use right hand threads for the heim joints or do i need both left and right hand threads. also does anyone have any luck with this kit.

seems cheep but cheep is good aslong as it works!
Also does anyone have any advice as to ware to buy the spindles?

Depends if you need to be able to adjust it and will have a link tube. Otherwise I would say just get right hand threads since jam nut replacements will be easier to find. Left and right threads are only neccessary if you have something like a tie-rod where you need to be able to adjust the length of something by turning a threaded tube in the middle. If I understand what you want the heims for they are only there for articulating joints and adjustment is setup once.
As far as that kit, I would check around first, you may be paying a bit more for having the parts all together not to mention you will be buying about 8 kits of these or more. Quality depends on metal obviously, but I know most of these suppliers sell these as their own when I think most come from the same manufacturers, usually China for the cheaper ones. _________________ Brian H.
