Received Sapphire 1 refurbished radio exactly as pictured. Dial wand and presets were smooth as silk. Gary communicated promptly and provided tracking info. Radio was well packed and even came with a copy of the installation and service manual. Thanks Gary. Will update when installed.

Finally warmed up enough here to get the radio installed and I can report that it worked perfectly fine. No issues.

So, for around $200 delivered I got a perfectly working radio. No sense in paying that kind of money for an “untested “ radio. Thanks again Gary.

Gary Haberman's work is excellent, he is fair with his pricing, and he will do right by the buyer. In my search for a big button Sapphire 1 for my 1960 beetle, I bought a refurbished radio from Gary. It had been damaged in shipping, despite his careful packing, and he requested it be sent back for a full refund, plus shipping. When I found another, non-working unit, Gary replaced several parts, did some clean up, and sent it back with a thorough explanation of what he had done. He even included the old burned out parts so I could observe what he had described. I'd happily purchase from him again. Thanks for everything Gary!
