Maybe someone has some insight. I have a wall mounted a/c unit that’s bad. The unit measures 17.25”H by 23.5”W. I assume the hole is similar. I would like the same size to fill the whole completely. 10,000 plus BTU. I’ve had no luck so far in my search. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

There's the ac unit and there should be a sleeve in the wall the unit slides into, which should be a bit wider and taller than the unit. Measure that.
A lot of units are 24" wide, but often only 16" tall as the equipment in the units has gotten smaller.
The PITA part is having to wade thru the crap online info to get to the actual unit size. _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

Thanks. I think I found one a tiny bit larger. I hope I have the wiggle room. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far
