Hey Guys,
Looking at a Zwitter bug Jan 53. actually (from vin) Car is stripped, just wondering if they had vinyl seat options in those days or was it all cloth?
I'm concerned about the cloth material on the market today say from Himmelservice being too light on strength.
Your thoughts?

There was the leatherette material of the verts also available for the sedans on request. I have it originally in my 1953 oval and i saw a Zwitter from England with the same material.

Ok, cause I was thinking of going black with the vinyl red interior. Was this uncommon?

Uncommon for a Zwitter for sure.
The brown leatherette stuff wich is in my car is the only color I have ever seen on such early sedans.
There was no red available, I think.
