|
|
I thought I would join the gang looking for an old buggy.
This picture was taken in the early 80's. This buggy was my Dad's daily driver and he sold it to a friend in SF CA in the mid 80's. He tried to give it to me when I was 16, but I was to cool and didn't want it. Any info on the location of this buggy would be greatly appreciated. |

What is it that looks unusual to you, do you mean the diamond windows? |

I know that feeling, I have a perfect condition, 79' 450 SL, triple black, with only 19k miles on it, I asked my daughter (when she was 16) if she wanted it, but it wasn't cool enough, too dated for her (rolls eyes), it's still in the garage, I got her a VW 'beetle' convertable instead. Go figure! |

They were popular on Bucket T Hot Rods in the 50s and 60s. When dune buggies came along, they became pretty popular on them too.
