Okay folks. I have for your reading enjoyment the minor problem of connecting the correct wires for my headlights, and turn signal for a 1959 Beetle.

The previous owner cut them from their connectors. I have it but it seems someone spliced different color wires to the connectors, and where the original wires connected to the quick connect, is lost (so colors of wires do not match).

I can post some pictures later on today 4/07 to demonstrate my dilemma or maybe someone out there in VW Bug Sedan land can help out Mr. Jack.

Are the wires as easy as being color coordinated? I'm going to search the technical section to see if I might be able to find something. I'm kind of a newbie here, so forgive my not so good at gettingaroundness.

Thanks in advance.

IF your car has the original rear lights (just one double filament bulb) and a 6 wires turn signal switch, I think the drawn below is the right one

I hope this helps

Thank you, Flavio.

I was meaning to take an image of my predicament but I was caught up with tearing down my doors on the car to put in new seals and scrapers. That's really a job for a first timer! Let me tell ya'.
