PostPosted: Wed Apr 20, 2011 9:11 am    Post subject: Dove Blue Dupont Chromaone Code Reply with quote

Hi people!
I've been searching everywhere in the internet looking for a code for dove blue for DuPont Chromaone.
I don't have any paint chip to make a copy from it.
Can anyone help me?

Thanks!
Gonzalo.

I would ask for a small test sample first.

I bought a "matched" spray can of Dove Blue before and it didn't match my original paint Bus very well. It was not dupont paint though.

Do you know where I can buy a reliable sample paint to make it copy in my country?

I have seen people mention http://towerpaint.com/ as a good source for correctly-matched cans of paint.

I haven't ordered from them myself though.... yet.

No, it doesn't look dark enough.

I have something that is original Dove Blue paint sitting right here and the color pretty much matches this digital photo of this camper when I look at it on my computer:

Your picture looks more like the Volvo color shown above.

This clearly shows that dove blue is the same as taubenblau.

My mistake, I forgot the previous discussion was about pigeon, not tauben.
This color issue is affecting my brain...

I had some dove blue mixed up the other day, per PPG code, it came out black, then the guy put his gun on my OG paint and it still came out black, he finally had to hand mix it to match. 1st time ever I had soo many problems.
