... when did this pattern (9 to 3 o'clock) begin....end? I read somewhere that the type with the bowl, ended in 8/55...
... I have a petcock with the removable sediment bowl and it has this pattern, from 9 to 3 o'clock.... also have a type with no bowl and it turns from 1 to 4 o'clock... I think the 1 position is on and 4 o'clock is off... can anyone confirm this? _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

... think I answered my own question... this 9, 12 and 3 o'clock fuel tap pattern was used on all splits and ovals with large 100 (and Zwitter 80 mm) fuel tanks till ch. 929 745 ... and... the hump back tank, from 1956 to '60, ch. # 929 745 and after used a fuel tap with a 1, 3, 5 o'clock pattern...
please correct me if I'm wrong... thanks. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

| Hi Zen, look in the owners manuals on this site and you will see as you suggested the change in reserve taps illustrated there... |
