I jsut took my front seats out to have them redone, and it was a tremendous struggle to get them to move forward and back at all. Ended up having to use a rubber mallet to slowly coax them forward.
I have the seat runners on the tracks, but it seems that the seat tracks are an incredibly tight with the runners and they won't slide due to the tight fit.
Just curious if anyone has any ideas that I could try before reinstalling the seats. |

Remove the plastic runners and wire brush/sand the tracks to remove and rust/dirt/old grease that is captured inside and possibly constricting the plastic guides inward to the seat tracks. Make sure everything is clean, and then all a layer of grease to the plastic when you re-insert. |
