Anyone have any idea where these two leads are supposed to be connected on my '77 Westy? I do have a temp gauge not working, other that that everything seems to be operating electrically.

Optional altitude switch, not used on most 49 state models, tape them up out of the way and forget about them.
As for the temp gauge is there some sort of sender on the bottom of your engine? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Holy Cow..Awesome quick response Thanks. I looked under again today, and also around the plugs for a head temp lead but didn't find anything. I'm sure those wires off the gauge below go somewhere but haven't quite dedicated the time yet to finding where they go.
Any idea if this gauge is for an oil temp or head temp?

the picture is too blurry to read it. What is the highest temp? _________________

Wires are for a flux capacitor and the gauge looks like a oil temp but its so fuzzy. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine
