Cherry red paint?

Hello! I would need that paint code for the paintshop, but the paint seller doesnt seem to find me an exact similar paint, or any info how to make it. So is there someone in here, that would know a paintcode for that or where to buy original vw cherry red paint... I'm out of ideas. And this world of paints is not so familiar topic to me... But..I just got to make that cherry red back to life. The car is a 1966 ghia vert. And original colour is that.

Can you help me please?

According to the paint guide here, there were two reds for the 1966 model year (Aug. 65-July 66): L 553 (04) henna red and L554 (03) cherry red:

Yours might have faded, but it looks more like henna red to me.

Loooks like the ghia has been repainted in red, but inside of the doors etc. It looks like dark red, like the cherrys, i ll take some more picks, but are these codes something, that you can find from a paint shop?
Do you have any paint seller to recommend?
